Assessment Brief

Part 1 – Weblog

Part 2 – Audio inspired by image – 3 mins max

Part 3  – Storyboard presentation and audiovisual stills piece – 5 mins

Part 4 – Final Project   – Audio Visual Presentation – 10 min max

 

Dates:

 

Part 1  – 21st May although formatively assessed throughout the module

Part 2 – 9th March

Part 3 – 12th April

Part 4 – 21st May 

 

Weighting:   

 

75% Final Project  – Audio inspired visual media work part 4 (Summative)

 

25% Presentation / Project web-log / Production file with works 2 and 3 (Summative)

 

Submission:  Hard copies of all work in an appropriate files or packs.  

 

You are also required to compile a project portfolio that includes developmental processes that you have engaged with and identify your references and the project’s relevance to the stated module aims. These must be also be hosted on your blog.

 

You will submit the work and make a formal presentation of your Media Project. Presentations will be between 5 and 10 minutes, and you will be expected to clearly describe intentions behind your work and to demonstrate that you understand the development and production process. 

 

You will submit the work via your blog and in hard copy for date-stamping purposes. 

 

Hard copies (DVDR or CDR) must be submitted via the Dropbox in City Campus by 5pm on Tuesday 21st May 2013. And must be available online by 10am Thursday 23rd May. Further information on this process will follow in a separate document
